Venerable Sean / Gelong Tenzin Jamchen

Ven. Sean was born in United Kingdom in late 60's. He had the usual education just like other British and left for Asia at the age of 20.

Ven. Sean studied Buddhism in Japan for 4 years and left for India to join The Institute of Buddhist Dialectics in Daramsala in year 1993. He also studied at Drepung Losling Monastery at South India for 6 years in Tibetan language & grammar and traditional Buddhist curriculum, Perfection of Wisdom, Madyamika, Logic, Vinaya, etc.

Rinpoche has agreed to come back to Yayasan Guan Yin prior to his departure.

He will spend two evening with us to teach on "Bardo". On the third evening, he will conduct a "Ulambana Chang Chog & Prayer For Removing Defilements".

H.E. THE NINTH CHOEGON RINPOCHE CHOKYI SENGYE is considered to be one of the most important spiritual masters of the Drukpa lineage, a Tibetan Buddhist tradition founded by the first Gyalwang Drukpa Tsangpa Gyare Yeshe Dorje (1161 - 1211) who was revered as the authentic reincarnation of the great Indian saint Naropa (1016-1100).

It has been almost a year since Khenpo Losal last visited us. He gave a brief teaching on Kunbaga Meditation last year. And now Khenpo is going to conduct a workshop on "Introduction to Shamata Meditation". This will be an interesting teaching and also a very interactive one. Please spread the news, all are welcome.

观音基金会希望能通过此培训，召集对带领读书会有兴趣的大众，成立观音基金会“读书会分享人小组”。此培训旨在训练能带领读书会的分享人，让参与者学习如何带领读书会；了解分享人的基本态度及所需要的技巧，以便日後能独立的带领及策划读书会的活动。此外, 参与者也将受邀请成为基金会义工, 负责策划基金会 “每月一书” 活动。

Kunchok Thrinley Lhundup Namgyal was born in Kathmandu, Nepal in 1984 as the eldest son of Lama Jorje, brother of H.E. Ayang Pinpoche. At the age of two, H.H. Drikung Chestang Rinpoche and H.H. Drikung Chungtsang Rinpoche recognised him as the 21st incarnation of Choeze Kuchen Rinpoche.

为配合一年一度的盂兰盆感恩孝亲月，观音基金会本着传播慈悲、感恩孝亲的精神及倡导供养僧伽的美德，将于8月8日上午10时至下午5时，在本会所举办“四臂观音超度消灾法会”。

Yayasan Guan Yin is organising a “Chang Chog” Prayer for removing defilements in conjunction with the Ulambana celebrations on 08th August 2004 from 10a.m to 5 p.m at L313, 3rd Floor, Amcorp Mall. The prayer will be conducted by Venerable Khenpo Garab Dorje Rinpoche.

This spiritual gathering will provide devotees of the Holy Triple Gems an opportunity to benefit from the energy of group prayers and the transfer of merits to benefit their departed relatives and friends, so that they may be relieved from all suffering.

由观音基金会与福报联合主办的玉珠仁波切讲座，定于2003 年7月12日 （星期六）晚上7时30分，在观音基金会会所（八打灵再也 Amcorp Mall, 三楼）举行。

主讲人玉珠仁波切是一位优秀的藏传上师，他是西藏安多地区玉珠寺的第四世传世活佛，在6岁时就被认证为活佛，由贡唐仓大师主持坐床典礼，从此接受精心严格的教育。 1993年玉珠仁波切到印度南部三大寺之甘丹寺继续修学，学习黄教（格鲁派）传统的辩经，以及种种的经纶与修法。
