Overwhelming response for "Magic Mirror The Musical"

(Genting Highland - 28th Nov 2008) Produced by Yaysan Guan Yin, Magic Mirror The Musical were officially opened yesterday night at the Genting International Showroom. This Musical is receiving overwhelming response and great comments from all audiences.

Among the guests were MCA president and Transport Minister Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat and his wife Datin Chooi Yoke Chun; Genting Group Chairman and CEO Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay and wife Puan Sri Cecilia Lim; Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun; The producer of The Musical, Datin Tan Swee Lai; Board of Director from Yayasan Guan Yin: Datuk Andrew Leong and Tan Sri Lim Yan Hai. This musical involves 60 dance talents from Malaysia & China (Beijing Dance Academy).

Focus on the theme of a Three-Faced Boddhisattva, the show conveyed the message of compassion that answers the calls of suffering of all sentient beings through beautiful dances and heartwarming songs.

Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat said he was deeply touched by the show. “ I believe Buddhist can relate to Buddha’s teaching in the show and the performance will spread the religious message to more people.”
